The BEST Bread Recipe For An Automatic Breadmaker EVER!

When I was a little girl I was obsessed with the book Bread And Jam For Frances. I read the book so many times it fell apart. I also owned this nifty recorded version which I would play on my Fisher Price record player.  Yes, that would be the same record player the hubs talked about earlier this week.

Yesterday we covered the basics of making jam, easey peasey right? Now what is better than a fresh loaf of homemade bread for your homemade jam? NOTHING I tell you! Frances would say the same.

Today I am going to share with you the bread recipe, specifically for an automatic breadmaker that my late Father spent years perfecting.

It is SO GOOD  that one taste of this bread and you WILL want more.

It is SO TASTY that little old ladies tracked my father down in order to learn his recipe. Funny thing was, there was no recipe, he made it by "feel" which he learned from my grandmother.  However lucky for all of us,  I eventually made him put all of the ingredients in separate containers so I could measure them.  One of the best things I ever did.

Are you ready?

The Ultimate Bread Recipe For A Breadmaker
* It works on any type of machine
3 cups flour
1 tsp salt
2 tbs sugar
2 tbs dry milk
1 1/4 cups water1 tsp yeast
1 egg
1 tsp margarine

I select the 2 hour rapid rise white bread option on my machine and Voila! All done!

Stay Happy and Stay Informed!

Love,

Jen

Must tell hubby as he has a bread machine. Nothing like a good loaf of bread and don't forget the strawberry jam.

Have a fabulous day. ☺
