How To Make Glitter Slime

My kids love making slime and I thought adding a little sparkle to the slime might be a fun touch.

What you need:
1 bottle Elmer’s Glitter Glue
1/2 cup water
1 tsp. Borax (you can find this in your local grocers laundry aisle)
1 tbsp water

1. Mix 1 tsp. Borax and 1/2 cup water into a bowl.

2. Empty the bottle of Glitter Glue into a separate bowl.

3. Add 1 tbsp  water to the Glitter Glue and mix together (hands work best).

4. Pour the Borax solution bowl slowly into the Glitter Glue bowl, mixing and smushing with your hands as you pour. Stop pouring the Borax mixture into the Glitter Glue bowl once the consistency of the slime gels together. Note: You may not need to add all of the Borax solution to the Glitter Glue bowl.

Voila you have glitter slime!

Love,
Jen

Update: We made these at my 6-year olds birthday party yesterday. HUGE hit. Thanks again for posting!
Is it weird that I can't say Borax without using a russian accent? I... don't even know what Borax is, but I'm thinking it comes from Boris & Natasha? Ha. Clearly, I need more coffee. I'm also pinning this for when my little one's a little older :)

Hah! You can find Borax in your grocery aisle. It is killer for getting out baby stains!
Well this is clever and fun too. Thanks.

Have a fabulous day. ☺

Thanks Marti! I love the link-up. So many great projects and ideas :)
The image of the glitter slime caught my daughter's eye and I had to pin it and promise that we will make it soon!
Best looking slime I have ever seen! And I think it is a wonderful use of glitter - because it would be contained in the slime and not slough off everywhere as it usually does! Fun idea!!

Yes indeed, champion slime maker here :) Thanks Susan!
This is beautiful and I never knew it was so easy. I will have to look for Borax. BTW, I saw your link at My Pinterventures' Merry Monday Linky Party.

It sat on my counter for over a month and then got taken to a friend's house and left. I think she stills has it on her counter.
